Jane Horrocks is an absolutely fabulous actress who showed off her comic timing as Bubble in the BBC sitcom Absolutely Fabulous (1992-2012). The amusing ingenue reprised her role for Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie (2016), but not before she could be seen on several other small screen series (Wyrd Sisters, Crapston Villas, Watership Down, etc.). The busy babe also voiced characters for an array of animated shows (including Foxbusters and Little Big Mouth). After making her film debut in The Dressmaker (1988), Jane undressed and exposed her chest in the made-for-TV movie Alive and Kicking (1991). At the risk of repeating herself, the boob tube babe lost her top again in an episode entitled “Bad Girl” of the anthology series Screenplay (1992). Even though the scene is brief and dimly-lit, it’s definitely worth grabbing your remote! Throughout the years, Ms. Horrock has shared her talents on television (The Storyteller, Trollied, Little Princess, Teletubbies, etc.) and on film (Memphis Belle, Corpse Bride, Deadly Advice, and Swimming with Men, among others). But the English Rose really rose to fame for playing Laura Hoff on stage in The Rise and Fall of Little Voice (1992) and onscreen in Little Voice (1998), for which she scored BAFTA and Golden Globe nominations. Speaking of accolades, the British beauty won the National Society of Film Critics Award for her titillating turn in Mike Leigh’s working-class dramedy Life Is Sweet (1991).
